RENO, Nev. –  The University of Nevada baseball team will conclude fall practice with the Wolf versus Pack three-game intrasquad scrimmage this weekend.  The first game is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday night at Peccole Park.  Saturday and Sunday’s games are scheduled for a 11:30 a.m. first pitch.  The series is free and open to the public.

First-year head coach Jay Johnson has selected four seniors to coach the two teams in the series.  Roseville, Calif. outfielder Brad Gerig and Reno pitcher Ryan Baker will run the Wolf squad.  Dana Point, Calif. infielder Scott Kaplan and Medford, Ore. pitcher Michael Bradshaw are in charge of the Pack team.

The team will meet on Wednesday evening to hold a draft to split the remainder of the squad.  The draft will run similar to the NFL draft in selecting players and will be announced by a commissioner.
