RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada baseball program has set its summer camp dates for 2014. There are three youth camps this summer June 16-19, July 14-17 and July 28-31. The prospect came is set for July 18-19.
The summer youth camps are for children ages 6-13. The camp is designed for various skill levels from beginners to advanced players. Campers will be instructed by members of the Wolf Pack coaching staff, Pack players and area coaches at Peccole Park, the on-campus home of the Nevada baseball team.
Highlights of the youth camp include individual and group instruction, use of the indoor batting cages and game instruction in a valuable learning environment. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt and hat. Peccole Park has hosted many local youth teams and games throughout the year.

The prospect camp is for boys in grades 9-12 and community college. The prospect camp will be held on campus at Peccole Park. This prospect camp is intended for high school and community college age players and will offer a professional-style workouts, games and instruction. Campers will get a feel for the Division I baseball experience by using Nevada's facilities at Peccole Park and interacting with Wolf Pack staff and current and former players.
Features of the camp are individual and group instruction the Nevada Wolf Pack way, use of indoor batting cages for intensive offensive training, games, simulated games and game instruction. Players will receive professional style workouts and strength training with the Wolf Pack strength and conditioning staff that works with Pack baseball team.
The camp will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 18-19 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cost for the prospect camp is $200. For more information and to register go to http://www.nevadawolfpack.com/camps/basebl-camps.html
