Nevada to Take on San Jose State in WAC Tournament Opener
RENO, Nev. - The Nevada baseball team will take on the San Jose State Spartans in its first game of the 2011 Western Athletic Conference baseball tournament this Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Ariz.
Nevada finished the 2011 regular season by winning three of four games against the Spartans at Municipal Stadium in San Jose, Calif. The tournament is played in a six-team, double-elimination format and the full schedule is listed below.
Nevada has an all-time record of 3-4 versus San Jose State in the WAC tournament including two losses in the 2010 tournament.
