Pack Falls to Pacific 14-3 in Final Midweek Game





Stockton, Calif. The University of Nevada baseball team (17-14, 8-4 WAC) fell to Pacific (7-22) 14-3 at Klein Family Field in Stockton, Calif., in their final midweek game of the season.

The Tigers scored 14 runs in seven of the eight innings.

In the second inning, catcher Tyson Jaquez made a RBI single into left field and reaching to second on a fielding error. Designated hitter Terry Walsh popped into center field for a sacrifice fly scoring Jaquez, cutting the Tigers lead to one.

Pack left fielder Matt Bowman led the third inning with a double to left field. Right fielder Mike Hale lined out to make a sacrifice RBI.

The Pack will conclude their non-conference schedule this weekend against Utah Valley University in a four-game series at Peccole Park.
