Nevada Falls 9-3 to Saint Mary's
RENO, NEV. - The Nevada baseball team (4-13) lost 9-3 to the Saint Mary's Gaels (6-11) at Peccole Park today. RHP Tim Culligan (1-1) was tagged with the loss giving up five runs on eight hits in one inning.

The Pack fell behind early after Saint Mary's scored four runs on six hits in the first inning. Saint Mary's starter Patrick Keane threw two innings of one hit ball before being relieved by Jordan Mills. Saint Mary's used X pitchers in today's game.
Nevada scored plated its first run in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Carlos Escobar Jr. Escobar Jr. scored a run himself in the sixth inning on a single to left field by Braden Shipley, and Brock Stassi scored in the seventh on a Nick Melino double off the center field wall.
Melino stayed hot at the plate going 3-4 with a double and a walk and is hitting .359 on the season. He has now hit safely in 14 of the Pack's 17 games this season, and reached base safely in all 17.
The Wolf Pack next travels to Washington for three games against the University of Washington Huskies Mar. 25-27 and one game at Seattle University Mar. 28.
