2013 (So.): Started all 15 appearances for the Wolf Pack with a 4-6 record ... Posted a 4.39 ERA with 68 strikeouts and only 39 walks in a total of 82.0 innings ... Started the season 4-0 winning four of his first five starts ... Pack went 7-8 in his 15 starts .. Amongst the Wolf Pack: third in ERA (4.39), second in wins (4), tied for first in games started (15), second in strikeouts (68), and third in innings pitched (82.0) ... Had a season high nine strikeouts twice; once at Utah Valley on March 9 and the other against UNLV on May 11 ... Earned second baseball letter.
2012 (Fr.): Pitched in the weekend rotation the first 12 weeks of the season but was moved to the bullpen toward the end of the year ... Three wins was fourth on the squad ... Team was 6-6 in his 12 starts ... First two wins were vs. Utah Valley tossing 6.1 shutout innings then allowed just one run in seven innings at UNLV ... Third victory was against LA Tech when he allowed four runs, three earned in 6.2 innings on the mound ... Did not allow an earned run in three of his four relief appearances ... Had nine at bats during the season with one start coming at first base against Oregon State when he collected his only hit in three at bats ... Lettered for the first time.
PRIOR TO NEVADA
Besides earning a letter in baseball each of his four years at Maxwell High School, also earned three each in basketball and football ... As a baseball player, earned both Northern California section and California Player of the Year honors in his senior season ... Finished his high school career with a 36-1 record.
