Rifle Heads to TCU for Eighth Consecutive NCAA Championship Appearance

RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada rifle team will conclude its season this weekend at Fort Worth, Texas for its eight consecutive NCAA Championships appearance.

Expecting to shoot for Nevada are senior Andrew Hickey, juniors Leah Taboada and Heather Horn, sophomore Jessica Klatt and freshman Dempster Christenson.

Joining the Wolf Pack are host TCU, defending champion Alaska-Anchorage, Army, Jacksonville State, Kentucky, Navy and West Virginia.

The match opens Friday with smallbore competition at the TCU rifle range. Saturday will be the air rifle competition, which will start at 9 a.m. local time at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
