RENO, Nev. - The 17th ranked University of Nevada rifle team returns to action on Saturday at #9 Air Force for a Patriot Rifle Conference match.  The Wolf Pack last competed in early November when they defeated UTEP 4560-4478.  Saturday's meet is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. PT.

"We look forward to shooting at Air Force," Pack head coach Fred Harvey said. "They are a great team and always provide a challenge."

Nevada is 2-2 on the season and 2-1 in the first season of the Patriot Rifle Conference.  Saturday's match with Air Force is the fourth match for the Pack in the PRC.  The Pack are ranked 17th in the latest Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association poll while the Falcons are ninth.

Sophomore Greta Ochsner's 586 in the air rifle at UTEP is the top score for the Pack in the event this season.  Haunani Akana boasts the top smallbore score of 575 with Chelsie Hata close behind at 574.  Both scores came in the first meeting with UTEP.  Akana and Chelsie Hata are tied for the top aggregate score of 1154 which combines the score of the smallbore and air rifle.  Those aggregate scores were also shot in the season opening win at UTEP.
