OTHER GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunity Fund

Nevada’s student-athletes compete at some of the nation’s highest levels and must have the necessary resources to

effectively compete. Facilities, equipment, travel, and the recruitment and retention of quality coaches are simply a few of the resources that help ensure our student-athletes can continue to compete on this level. The Opportunity

Fund has been created so the Wolf Pack Athletic Program can successfully achieve these competitive goals. Any Opportunity Fund gift will be applied to one’s annual donation totals and accompanying benefits. For more

information on the Opportunity Fund, please contact a member of the Development staff at (775)784.4870.

Endowed Scholarships

Maintaining a competitive Division I program requires sustained resources that can be relied on year after year. The cost of athletics scholarships at the University of Nevada continue to rise dramatically. To that end, Wolf Pack athletics established the AAUN Endowment Fund. The AAUN Endowment was created to provide long-term educational support through annual investment and interest income.

A gift of $25,000 or more is required to establish a newly named endowment. Endowed Scholarships can be named

for the donor or a donor-designated honoree. Any endowment payment received during that year will apply toward one’s overall annual gift. For more information on the Endowment, please call a member of the Development staff at (775)784.4870.

Capital Projects

Frequently, the University of Nevada’s athletics program embarks on giving campaigns for capital projects that are needed to enhance our athletic facilities. Private gifts play a major role in acquiring key resources necessary to maintain a competitive Division I program. In all cases, gifts made in support of Capital Projects are considered a contribution to the overall Pack Educational Fund. In some instances, these fundraising programs for Capital Projects may provide unique Naming Opportunities.  For more information on the Capital Projects, please call a member of the Development staff at (775)784.4870.
