Coach Ault, Fremont Cannon Headline Silver & Blue Outfitters Grand Opening
RENO, Nev.- Numerous University of Nevada athletic department representatives, including Wolf Pack football coach Chris Ault, will be on hand for the formal grand opening of the Silver & Blue Outfitters Store on Saturday, July 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at its newly opened location in the Meadowood Mall. The grand opening will also serve as the official kickoff to the Wolf Pack fall season.
In addition to Coach Ault, other Wolf Pack coaches and administrators, along with the Nevada cheer squad and mascots Alphie and Wolfie Jr., will be on hand to visit with customers. Pack fans will also be able to see the famous Fremont Cannon, the celebrated football rivalry trophy that is annually fought for by Nevada and UNLV, at the grand opening.
Fans can have their photo taken with the cannon, the nation's largest college rivalry trophy, as well as with coaches in attendance. Children in attendance will be able to get their photos with the Wolf Pack mascots.
Silver & Blue Outfitters, co-owned by Nevada alums Brad Platt and Mark Glodowski, got its start as an online retailer several years ago. Its new retail store features both Wolf Pack apparel and merchandise for fans of all ages and is located across from the Food Court in the Meadowood Mall.
