A Celebration of Women's Athletics at the University of Nevada
June 19, 2012 RENO, Nev. - In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Title IX in June of 2012, Wolf Pack Athletics will be taking a look back at the top 40 moments in women's athletics history at the University of Nevada. From the first victory by any Wolf team male or female in 1899 to the 10 Western Athletic Conference championships Nevada's women have won, women's athletics has a rich and successful history at the University of Nevada thanks to the contributions of thousands of student-athletes, coaches and administrators over the past 100-plus years.
