RENO, Nev. - After four years with the Pack, cheerleader Shayne Pike has been selected as the newest member of the Seattle Seahawks' Sea Gals cheer squad.
The Las Vegas native has bled blue in all her years at Nevada. She was a leader on Pom team and a face of the cheer program throughout the community. She's also volunteered countless hours to different partnerships, appearances and outreach with cheer4kindness. As a former crowd favorite for the Wolf Pack, she will go on to represent Nevada on a national stage.
"We are so excited for Shayne to continue her love for cheer in the Pro's" said head coach Kimberly Anastassatos.
To date there have had a handful of girls go on to cheer for a professional team under Anastassatos' reign:
Liz Seward, Indiana Pacers 2009
Martika Tillman, 49ers 2012
Kat Crowe, Denver Broncos 2014 & 2015
Glory Finnegan, 49ers 2015/San Diego Chargers 2016
Michaela Cano, Sacramento Kings 2016 & 2017
