Track & Field Jumps Clinic

June 12, 2013 (Wed., 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

Beneficial for long and triple jumpers and high jumpers, this skills camp will include drills demonstrated by members of the Wolf Pack track and field team. Campers will be given the opportunity to perform drills and receive critiques from staff members. At the completion of the clinic, campers will receive a booklet with detailed descriptions of all drills.

Jumps Clinic includes:

  • Creating jump-specific warm-up routines for long, triple and high jumpers
  • Developing jump-specific approaches, positions, landings and techniques
  • Discussions of elements of training and drills to make you a better jumper

Campers will be given the opportunity to perform drills and receive critiques from staff members. Throws Clinic includes:

  • Creating specific warm-up routines for shot put, discus and javelin throwers
  • Medicine ball training drills
  • Developing sport-specific approaches, positions and technique evaluation
  • Discussions of training theory for each sport to make you a better thrower

T Moe

Women's Basketball

Junior T Moe made history during Friday night's season-opening win over UC Santa Barbara by collecting the program's first triple-double. The 5-8 guard kicked off her season by posting 19 points and career-highs with 12 rebounds and 11 assists to capture the feat, the 10th to be done in the Mountain West. Moe made a strong push for her triple-double in the second half of action, tallying 13 of her 19 points in that half. Nine of her 11 assists were passes inside that led to Nevada's dominance in the paint where the Wolf Pack outscored the Gauchos by 24 points.
