Pack Educational Fund

The Pack Educational Fund is the cornerstone of the athletic program's annual fund-raising efforts and encompasses several core giving programs: Annual Giving, Priority Seating, the AAUN Endowment Fund, Pack PAWS, and Sport Specific Support Groups.

A donation to any of these programs constitutes a gift to the Pack Educational Fund and membership into the AAUN.

All Pack Educational Fund donations are used exclusively to offset the cost of educational needs of our student-athletes in the Wolf Pack Athletic Program. Scholarships are the most sought after financial award a university can offer its students. Since its inception, this Fund has raised nearly $55 million in scholarship and program support for over 4,000 student-athletes in 16 programs providing them the opportunity to attend the University of Nevada and compete for the Wolf Pack.

Membership Levels and Benefits

Loyalty Points System

The Loyalty Point System recognizes current scholarship fund donors for their support and is used to determine priority for new season ticket and parking assignments, season ticket relocations, limited away game tickets, and post-season events including bowl games. Donors are given priority based on donation level and loyalty points within each donation level.

Loyalty Point Allocations:

• 1 point for every $100 contributed to the Pack Educational Fund- (Any cash gift - seat premium, capital gifts, endowment, sport-specific, gift in kind, and skybox lease payments. Includes dollars spent at official athletic fundraising events.)
• 5 points for each consecutive year of season ticket purchases (Per sport- Football, Basketball, Baseball since 1996, all other sports since 2006)**
• 25 points for former student- athletes at the University of Nevada (one time- maximum 50 pts/account )
• 25 points for being a University of Nevada Alum (one time- maximum 50pts/account)

• Example: Joe and Jane Donor have contributed $15,000 to the Pack Educational Fund since 1996. They have also been season ticket holders in football for 6 consecutive years and in basketball for 9 consecutive years. Jane graduated from Nevada and lettered in track and field.

Important Notes:

• If a season ticket holder drops out for one year they forfeit points for all previous years of season ticket purchases within that sport.
• Loyalty Points are not transferable.
• Loyalty Points are calculated each year prior to seating assignments and special events.

Keeping this balance requires careful planning, and the Planned Giving Office can
help you make the most informed decision possible. Planned giving provides you with
options and opportunities to include Wolf Pack Athletics in your overall financial and estate plans. 

Generally these are gifts or commitments made in the present with the benefit to Wolf Pack Athletics deferred until a future date. However, planned gifts may include outright gifts of appreciated property, including securities, real estate and gifts of tangible personal property. Some planned gifts can provide lifetime income for you or a loved one.

Wheel Club Program

The Wolf Pack Athletic Department sincerely appreciates statewide automobile dealers who comprise the Wheel Club Program. These dealers greatly impact the successful recruiting and retention of quality coaches and staff through their generous provision of courtesy vehicles.
