Pfatenhauer Leading Dixie State

Former University of Nevada baseball assistant coach Chris Pfatenhauer is in his first year as the head coach at Dixie State in St. George, Utah.  Pfatenhauer spent three seasons as an assistant coach to longtime Wolf Pack head coach Gary Powers before accepting the head coaching position at DS.  In his final season at Nevada he helped the Pack to its first Western Athletic Conference title and a thirty plus win season.

In his first season at DS he has the Red Storm nearing thirty wins with a 27-13 record.  DS sits in fourth place in the 10-team Pacific West Conference at 19-11 with five conference games remaining.
