Named to 2009 WAC Preseason Coaches’ team at second base after receiving the honor as a utility player last year...second-team All-WAC outfielder who returns for his fifth season at Nevada after receiving a medical redshirt in 2007 when he tore his right pectoralis major muscle sliding into second base on a stolen base attempt at UC Riverside...will move to second base for his senior season after playing primarily outfield in 2005, 2007 and 2008 while working at third base his sophomore year in 2006...named to 2009 Rivals.com WAC Preseason team at second base ...drafted in the 49th round by the Oakland A’s he chose to return for his senior year at Nevada... played in the Cape Cod League for the Orleans Cardinals last summer and led the team with a .277 average to go along with his 15 runs scored, six doubles, two triples and 14 RBI...boasts a .347 career batting average...46 career doubles is seventh most at Nevada and 15 behind former Pack star and current Tornoto Blue Jays first baseman Lyle Overbay.

2007(Jr.-Rs.): 
Missed all but five games after tearing his right pectoralis major muscle sliding into second base on a stolen base attempt at UC Riverside...surgery was required to fix the torn pectoral muscle...received a medical redshirt due to the injury...collected a hit in four of the five games in which he played...hit two home runs in a game for the first time in his career going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, the two home runs, and 3RBI at Saint Mary’s(1/28)...10 total bases vs. Saint Mary’s was also a then career-high...was named to the 2007 Wallace Award Watch List, the award honors the College Player of the Year...on the Dean’s List during the 2006-07 academic year.
2006(So.):  Led the team and was second in the WAC with a .376 batting average which was also 88th in NCAA I...named to WAC Academic Team after posting a 3.30 grade point average in accounting...started 53 games: 38 at third base, two at second base and 13 at designated hitter at the beginning of the season due to an arm injury...five doubles in the WAC Tournament tied the conference tournament record...batted .396(19-for-48) with eight runs scored, three doubles, and 7 RBI during a career-high 12-game hit streak...12-game hit streak was the longest on the team and tied for the eighth longest in the WAC...24 multiple hit games was tops on the team and tied for fourth in the WAC...hit a walk-off 3-run homer vs. Sac State(5/13) that gave the Pack a 6-3 victory and finished 3-for-5 with a run scored and tied his career-high with 4 RBI...put together hit streaks of 3, 4, 4, 7, 7, 9 and 12-games...ranked in the top 10 in eight offensive categories in the WAC: batting average(.376,2nd), slugging percentage(.573,7th), on base percentage(.431,8th), runs(48,T8th), hits(82,2nd), doubles(17,T5th), home runs(8,T9th) and total bases(125,4th)...in WAC only games hit .344 which was 13th in the conference while his 24 runs scored was second and 33 hits fifth...1.52 hits per game led the conference and he ranked third in at bats per game(4.04) fifth in runs scored per game(.89), fifth in doubles per game(.31), and sixth in plate appearances per game(4.61)... topped the Wolf Pack with 17 doubles and 82 hits ...10 multiple RBI games was third on the team... collected a hit in 46-of-54 games played...only once failed to get a hit in back-to-back games...earned second baseball letter.
2005(Fr.):  Earned a starting spot in his first season at Nevada playing 41 games, starting 34...four starts came at third base, one in right field, and was the starting left fielder the majority of the season where he made 29 starts...batted .280 which was fourth-best on the team and his four home runs ranked fifth on the squad...batted leadoff 17 times during the season...7-game hit streak tied for the third-longest on the team...hit .393(11-for-28) with seven runs scored, two doubles, a triple, and three home runs during the streak...first career home run was at home vs. St. Mary’s(3/13) and 3-of-4 home runs were in a five-game stretch in mid April...top offensive game was at Fresno State(4/24) when he went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, drove in three and belted a home run...hit .299 in WAC play which ranked fourth on the squad, and 15th in the conference...earned first baseball letter.

High School:  Four-year baseball and basketball letterwinner at Dayton High School in Dayton, Nev...senior year Nevada and Northern Nevada 3A MVP...junior and senior years garnered all-state honors and a was first-team all-conference selection his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... junior year batted .612 with 12 home runs and improved his batting average as a senior hitting .657 and again belted 12 home runs...second-team all-league basketball selection his junior and senior seasons.
