2009(Fr.): Earned Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America and first-team All-WAC honors at designated hitter...saw action in 53 games earning 48 starts in his first season...started 35 games in left field and 13 at designated hitter...led the team with a .352 batting average, .431 slugging percentage and tied for first being hit by pitch 11 times and four sacrifice flies while ranking in the top five in slugging percentage(.539,2nd), hits(58,4th), RBI(39,3rd), doubles(15,3rd), triples(2,T3rd) and home runs(4,T4th)...hit .423(11-of-26) with eight runs scored, drove in a run, collected three doubles during a season-high eight-game hit streak that was sixth longest on the team...exploded offensively in the FS series hitting .533(8-for-15) with seven runs scored, two doubles, a triple, three home runs and 14 RBI...in game 1 at FS was 3-for-4, with three runs scored, hit two home runs and drove in eight then went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, hit a double, a home run and drove in four in the second game of the doubleheader giving him 12 RBI and three home runs on Saturday... eight RBI at Fresno State(5/2) was the high for a Nevada player...30 of his 39 RBI came in a one month stretch of 17 games from Apr. 9 to May 8 and just two in the last nine games of the season...four hits in his 4-for-4 performance with four RBI in game 2 vs. Hawai`i(4/10) is a career-high and tied for the most hits by a Pack player...15 multi hit games on the season was fifth on the team and eight multi RBI games was fourth...28 RBI and eight doubles in WAC play tied for seventh in the league and three sacrifice flies tied for third...named to WAC Freshman Academic team...earned first Nevada baseball letter.
