In the top of the fourth inning the Pack scored a run on two hits. Right fielder Terry Walsh singled and moved to third base on catcher Tyson Jaquez’ double where he later scored on Ciarlo’s RBI single to make it 2-0.
After being held hitless for the first three innings of the game DBU sent nine players to the plate in the bottom of the fourth inning and three scored to take the lead. Left fielder Clay Kelly dropped down a bunt single but

The Pack struck for a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning. Kort singled to start the inning and designated hitter Nick Lead walked. With two down Ciarlo singled home Kort and it was 6-3. The Patriots got an RBI double from catcher Brandon Bantz in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the final score 7-4.
Scurry(0-2) suffered the loss allowing six runs, four earned and struck out five in 4.2 innings on the mound. Jordan Meaker(1-0) got the win allowing just two runs on seven hits and struck out six. Chris Haney(1) pitched 3.1 innings of shutout baseball to record his first save of the season.
Kort(3-for-4,R,RBI) finished with a game-high three hits and Ciarlo(2-for-4,2RBI) added two. Ciarlo tied for game-high honors with two RBI.
