2008 (Sophomore):
Played in eight games and started seven for Nevada in goal...made 32 saves on the year including a career-high 10 in Nevada’s 1-0 win over Hawai`i...played full games in seven of her eight appearances...recorded two shutouts on the year against Hawai`i and against Idaho...ended the year with a .727 save percentage and a 1.52 goals against average. 2007 (Freshman): Started 16 games in goal for the Pack as a freshman...finished the season with a 1.51 goals against average and a .677 save percentage...made 48 saves on the season...was named WAC Defensive Player of the Week on October 1 after leading Nevada to victories over UNLV and UC Davis while allowing just one goal in 180:00 minutes of play...recorded three shutouts during the year against UNLV, San Francisco and Northern Arizona...became the first true-freshman in program history to record multiple shutouts in a season over Division I opponents...recorded a career-high eight saves in Nevada’s win over UNLV, helping Nevada to its first-ever win over its intra-state rival...played a full 90 and was not forced to make a save in Nevada’s win over La Tech on October 21...finished the season ranked in six WAC categories including fifth in both goals against average (1.51) and shutouts (3) and seventh in both saves (48) and save percentage (.667)... named to the WAC All-Academic Freshman and Transfer Team.    

 

Prior to Nevada: Earned four varsity letters in soccer and two in track at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, Calif....she led her soccer team to three Garden Grove League championships from 2003-06...served as a team captain for three years...as a senior she was an Empire All-League Defensive first-team selection...was a Scholar Athlete and had her #17 high school jersey retired... she was named defensive MVP in 2004, All-CIF second team in 2004-06 and first-team all-league in 2004 and 2005...won a Garden Grove League title in track in 2006 and as a senior she received the coaches award and was named Athlete of the Year at the senior awards banquet... garnered MVP honors of her track team in 2006...played club for Cypress FC Elite, and won the North Huntington Beach Cup as a U19 team and won the League Cup Championship as a U17 team...also received the Publications Achievement Medal, the Bank of America German Award and the President’s Award for Academic Excellence.

 

Personal: Majoring in finance and accounting...enjoys dirt bike riding, camping, writing, drawing, taking pictures and going to the beach...chose Nevada over the University of Memphis-Tennessee, University of Southeastern Louisiana and Long Island University...chose Nevada because of the beautiful campus and the up-and-coming soccer program...likes turtles and quoting movies...lists her most exciting sports moment as stopping a total of four penalty kicks in back-to-back games to win the championship... daughter of Martin and Cindy Cove...has one brother, Martin (8) and three sisters, Janelle (24), Victoria (17) and Kristin (10)...also has two nephews...born in April of 1989.
