At Nevada 2007-08 (Senior): Returned to the court after redshirting the previous year...played in all 33 games with 24 starts...started the last 18 games of the season...finished fifth on the team in scoring with 6.5 points per game...shot 53.7 percent from the field on the year (87-162) and 54.5 percent for his career (159-292), which ranks sixth on Nevada career field goal percentage list...was third on the squad with 4.6 rebounds per contest...finished second on the team and seventh in the WAC with 0.97 blocked shots per game...scored a season-high 19 points Dec. 31 vs. Cal State Stanislaus, making 8-of-12 attempts from the field...paced the team in rebounding seven times...matched his career best with 11 rebounds Jan. 17 vs. Idaho...turned in the first double-double of his career with 12 points and a career high-tying 11 boards Nov. 13 at UC Irvine...blocked a career-best six shots Dec. 19 vs. Colorado State.
2006-07: Used his redshirt year...was academically ineligible for the first semester.
2005-06 (Junior): Played in all 33 games with 16 starts...junior college transfer who earned a spot in the starting lineup midway through the season...started 16 of the last 18 contests of the year...averaged 5.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots in 17.4 minutes per game...shot a team-best 55.4 percent from the field (72-130)...was named the Xbox Live WAC Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 6-12 after turning in a career-high 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting and seven rebounds in a Feb. 9 win over New Mexico State...ranked second on the team and 10th in the WAC with 0.97 blocked shots per game (32 total)...scored in double figures six times...averaged 6.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game and shot a team-best 58.9 percent from the field in conference play.
Diablo Valley College Played two seasons at Diablo Valley College in Concord, Calif....was named the Bay Valley Conference Most Valuable Player (west division) as a sophomore...led all California community college players with 5.2 blocked shots per game...earned first-team all-state honors...averaged 19.3 points. 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals as a sophomore...shot 53.1 percent from the field...ranked second in the league in rebounding, fifth in steals and 13th in field goal percentage...helped Diablo Valley College to a 25-5 record and the Bay Valley Conference west championship in 2004-05...that marked DVC's eighth consecutive conference championship...was coached by Steve Coccimiglio.
High School A four-year letterwinner at Oakland Tech High School in Oakland, Calif....earned All-America honors in 2002...was a three-time all-state selection...helped Oakland Tech to three conference championships (1998, 2000 and 2001)...was ranked as one of the top 100 players in the nation...spent one year at Christian Faith Academy in Creedmoor, N.C., after high school.
