Fazekas' Career: An extremely skilled athlete who has the ability to score inside and out... possesses a nice shooting touch and has great hands... ended his Wolf Pack career as the most decorated player in school history... three-time Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, joining Utah's Keith Van Horn as just the second player in the history of the conference to earn that distinction three times... earned first-team All-America honors as a senior... was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks (34th overall pick)..helped the Wolf Pack to Western Athletic Conference regular-season championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in each of his four seasons in Reno... along with fellow senior Kyle Shiloh, became the winningest player in school history, helping Nevada to a 106-27 record in his four years... ended his career as Nevada's all-time leading scorer with 2,464 points and its second-leading rebounder with 1,254 boards... also became Nevada's career leader in blocked shots (192), field goals made (901) and free throws made (546) and ranks in the Wolf Pack career top 10 for field goal percentage (T8th-.532) and free throw percentage (5th-.815)... became the first player in school history and just the fifth in the history of the WAC to turn in 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career... finished ranked second in the WAC in career rebounding and third in career scoring... is also just the sixth player all time to score 2,000 points, pull down 1,000 rebounds and shoot 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the line,joining Rick Barry, Larry Bird, Bill Bradley, Christian Laettner and Keith Van Horn on that list.

Was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a first-team All-WAC selection for the third consecutive season... earned first-team All-America honors from ESPN.com, the United States Basketball Writers Association, SI.com and collegeinsider.com... was also named to the 10-man Wooden All-America Team and finished eighth in the voting for the Wooden Award...  was a second-team All-America selection by the Associated Press and the National Association of Basketball Coaches... one of 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which is presented to the nation's top senior who defines the complete student-athlete, and was a member of the Senior CLASS All-America first team... was on the final ballot for the Naismith Trophy, which are annually presented to the top player in the country...  was named the USBWA District 8 Player of the Year and earned first-team All-District 13 accolades from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (both for the second year in a row)... was named the Team's Most Valuable Player for the third consecutive season... was one of three players in the nation to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this season... led the nation with 21 double-doubles this season and turned in 62 career double-doubles... ranked second in the WAC and 19th in the nation in scoring at 20.4 points per game... scored in double figures in all 32 games he played in and finished his career on a streak of 64 consecutive games in double figures for scoring... led the conference and ranked fifth in the nation with 11.1 rebounds per contest... finished second in the WAC in field goal percentage (.568, 32nd in the NCAA) and free throw percentage (.845, 45th in the NCAA)... paced the team and tied for fourth in the conference with 1.50 blocked shots per game, including a career high-tying four Dec. 12 vs. Saint Mary's and March 16 vs. No. 24 Creighton... played in 131 career games with 119 starts, missing just two games in his career with a severe ankle sprain in January of his senior year... was the NCAA's active leader with 68 career games with 20 or more points, including 20 in 2006-07... led the Wolf Pack in scoring in 15 games and in rebounding in 24 contests this year... scored a season-high 33 points to go along with 15 rebounds Feb. 8 at Fresno State... matched his career high with 18 rebounds in two games this season (Nov. 15 at Oregon State and Jan. 27 vs. Utah State)... pulled down 17 rebounds in two other contests this year... scored 29 points in 21 minutes in the season opener vs. Alaska Anchorage and matched that point total Nov. 21 vs. UC Irvine...  earned WAC Player of the Week honors twice during the season (Nov. 28 and Feb. 27)...  preseason WAC Player of the Year and All-WAC selection by both the media and the coaches.

2004-05 (Sophomore): One of two players to start all 32 games... named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a first-team All-WAC selection... earned honorable-mention All-America honors from the Associated Press, Sports Illustrated.com and Rivals.com... named to the United States Basketball Writers Association All-District 8 First Team and the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 13 First Team... selected to the Basketball Times All-Rockies team... led the WAC in scoring at 20.7 points per game... also ranked third in the league in rebounding (9.4 rpg), fourth in blocked shots (1.59 bpg) and sixth in both field-goal percentage (.502) and free-throw percentage (.789) ... averaged a double-double in conference play with 21.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per WAC game... led the team and ranked third in the conference with 16 double-doubles... scored in double figures in every game and led the Wolf Pack in scoring in 26 of  32 contests... finished the season ranked 14th in the nation in scoring and 22nd in rebounding... set Nevada's sophomore records for scoring (662) and blocked shots (51)... both efforts were also the third-best single-season marks in school history... set the school's single-season record for free throws made (183) and finished with the second-best single-season mark for free throws attempted (232)... became the first Wolf Pack player since 1988-89 to average 20 or more points per game... named WAC Player of the Week a conference-high three times (Nov. 22, Jan. 10 and Feb. 21)... scored a then career-high 33 points at Tulsa on Jan. 20, which tied him for the most points in a WAC game... registered 20 or more points in a game 18 times and reached 30 or more on two occasions... recorded a career-best 18 rebounds Jan. 6 at Louisiana Tech... established career highs in free throws made (14) and attempted (16) Feb. 10 at Boise State... led the team in three-point field-goals made (33) and was second in three-point field goal percentage... named to the preseason All-WAC team by the media and earned preseason second-team All-WAC honors from the league's coaches... made the 12-man USA Basketball Men's Under 21 National Team and spent the summer playing with that squad... helped the USA team to a fifth-place finish at the 2005 FIBA Men's U21 World Championship in Mar De Plata, Argentina... fginished second on that squad in rebounding with 4.6 boards per contest at the world championships.

2003-04 (Freshman): Played in all 34 games and started 22... named to the WAC All-Newcomer team... finished second on the team in scoring (12.6 ppg) behind Kirk Snyder... led the team in rebounding (7.6 rpg) and blocked shots (1.29 bpg)... shot a team-best 52.8 percent from the field... ranked third on the team with 24 three-point field goals made... tied for fourth in the WAC with seven double-doubles... ranked fourth in the conference in rebounding, 13th in scoring and third in blocked shots... set the Wolf Pack freshman record for scoring (429 points) and blocked shots with 44... also set the freshman record at Nevada for field goal percentage... scored a season-high 32 points against UTEP (2/14/04) and ripped down a season-best 15 rebounds in that game... named WAC Player of the Week on Feb. 9... registered 20 or more points in six games, including four 20+ point games in a row... made a then career-high three three-pointers on two occasions against Weber State on Dec. 13 and Hawai'i  on Jan. 5... registered a career-high four blocks three times, the last time against UTEP on Feb. 14... spent a portion of the summer of 2004 traveling to China with the NIT All-Stars... the All-Stars went 8-0 on the tour... averaged 10.2 points per game... named preseason All-WAC by the league's media and second team by the league's coaches.

High School: Earned three varsity letters in basketball at Ralston Valley High School in Arvada, Colo.... led his team to a record of 25-2 and the Class 4A state championship as a senior... named MVP of the state tournament after he averaged 25.6 points game... also grabbed 44 rebounds and registered 15 blocks... named Mr. Basketball (Player of the Year - All Classifications) for the state of Colorado in 2002-03 by the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post... named first team all-state and All-Colorado by the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post... earned first team all-conference honors and was named the Jefferson County Player of the Year in 2002-03... led Ralston Valley High to a record of 63-12 during his three seasons on the varsity squad... averaged 26.4 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game his senior season... ranked as the 31st best senior center by the USBWA Basketball Times... named 2001-02 4A Mr. Basketball, All-Colorado and first-team all-state... also named the Jefferson County Player of the Year following his junior year... his team went 24-1 overall and 10-0 in league to claim the league championship and 4A District championship in 2001-02... a member of the 2002 USA Development Festival West Team that went 2-3 and took the bronze medal... ranked tied for ninth among festival leaders in field-goal percentage (.500)... recorded game highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds vs. the East.
