AT NEVADA 2009-10 (Senior): Started all 34 games this season...ranked third on the team and ninth in the WAC with 14.5 points per game, up 5.5 ppg from last season...scored in double figures in 26 games and paced the team in scoring six times this season...turned in eight 20-point scoring efforts, including a career-best 32 points on 11-of-15 shooting March 4 vs. New Mexico State and 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting in the NIT second round March 22 at Rhode Island...dished out a career-best nine assists and pulled down seven boards in that game vs. New Mexico State...also turned in 23 points Feb. 25 at San Jose State, including a career-best 6-of-10 three-point attempts, and had 20 Feb. 27 at Hawai'i...knocked down at least one three-pointer in 29 of 34 games this season, including 19 with two or more...made a career-best six three-pointers Feb. 25 at SJSU and knocked down four treys in three other games...finished second on the team with 2.4 assists per game...also added 3.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals per contest.
2008-09 (Junior): Played in 32 games...shared the team's Sixth Man Award with Joey Shaw...was the team's leading scorer off the bench, turning in 9.4 points per game (fourth on the team overall)...scored in double figures in 11 games, including a pair of 20-point contests...led the team in scoring seven times...earned WAC Player-of-the-Week honors for March 2-9 after scoring 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting March 5 vs. San Jose State and turning in 19 points, including three treys, March 7 at Boise State...led the team and posted a season-best 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting Dec. 17 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff...also pulled down a season-best eight rebounds in that game...turned in 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest in 22.6 minutes per game on the year...dished out a season-best four assists four times.
2007-08 (Sophomore): Started 32 of 33 games...shared the team's Defensive Player of the Year award with fellow guard Lyndale Burleson...named to the WAC All-Academic team...finished third on the team and just out of the WAC statistics with 12.4 points per game...scored in double figures in 22 games and had four 20-point efforts, including a season-best 29 points in Nevada's Feb. 28 win over New Mexico State...made 9-of-11 attempts from the field and 10-of-11 from the free throw line in that game vs. the Aggies...knocked down 38.3 percent of his three-point attempts (54-141) after making just 27.3 percent the season before (3-11)...knocked down at least one three-pointer in 27 of 33 games, including four Dec. 16 vs. UCF and against Jan. 19 vs. Boise State...made two or more three-pointers in 15 games...ranked fourth in the WAC and 55th in the NCAA in free throw percentage at 84.3 percent (86-102), including a career-best 13-of-13 effort Feb. 16 at Idaho...set the Nevada sophomore record for free throw percentage (.843, since broken)...turned in 22 points in the Dec. 16 victory over UCF...also added 21 points in Nevada's Jan. 24 win at New Mexico State and again Feb. 16 at Idaho...was named the WAC Player of the Week for Dec. 10-16 after averaging 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in wins over San Diego and Central Florida...added 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists (third on the team) in 29.0 minutes per game...improved his scoring by 10.3 points per game after averaging 2.1 ppg as a freshman...dished out a season-best five assists four times this year.
2006-07 (Freshman): Played in 33 of 34 games off the bench...averaged 2.1 points, 0.9 points and 0.7 assists in 8.2 minutes per game...made 43.1 percent of his field goal attempts (28-65), including three three-pointers...scored eight points, dished out five assists and had a career-best three steals Dec. 28 vs. Maine...knocked down all four of his field goal attempts vs. the Black Bears...also scored seven points in three other games (Jan. 6 vs. Idaho, Jan. 27 vs. Louisiana Tech and March 8 vs. Idaho).
HIGH SCHOOL A 2006 graduate of Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas...earned all-state and all-region honors as a senior...was the District 5-A Offensive Player of the Year...was named his team MVP in 2005 and 2006...averaged 17 points, five rebounds and five assists as a senior...captained his basketball team as a junior and a senior...also lettered in football...led the National Peach Jam in scoring with 28.7 points per game...scored 47 points in a single game...led the district in scoring as a junior at 18 points per game...earned all-district honors and led his team to a 24-10 record his junior season...was named to the A-Honor Roll his junior and senior years...coached by Allen Gratts.
