RENO, Nev. — The Nevada football team will hold its annual Silver and Blue Spring Scrimmage on Saturday, March 22, at Mackay Stadium.

The controlled scrimmage will begin around 10 a.m. Admission is free, though fans are asked to sit in the West section of the stadium and to stay off the field level and track. In addition to the gridiron action, a host of other family-friendly events are planned for the day.

Gates to Mackay Stadium will open at 8 a.m. for the “Tent Sale,” a liquidation of brand new official Wolf Pack apparel. More than 3,000 pieces of clothing from adidas and Russell Athletic will be sold at bargain prices ranging from $5-$20. T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, athletic shorts, jackets, hats and workout suits will be sold while supplies last. A limited number of official game-used football jerseys and basketball shorts will be available for $40. All prices are firm. The Tent Sale will be held south of the field near the fieldhouse.

Bully’s Sports Bar and Grill will be on hand to provide free lunch at the scrimmage. Bully’s will be cooking 1,000 hot dogs with chips and soft drinks also available.

Immediately after the scrimmage, approximately noon, an Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the turf at Mackay Stadium. Children middle-school age and younger are invited to bring their Easter baskets and hunt for eggs.
