Was a second-team All-Mission Conference selection in 2004 as a defensive back for Pasadena (Calif.) CC...Had 68 tackles and one interception...Was named National Junior College Player of the Week on Oct. 30 for his efforts against El Camino College...Was the conference's defensive player of the week five times.

High School
Was a standout at St. Paul's High School in Whittier, Calif....Earned first-team all-conference honors as a defensive back and wide receiver...Named first-team all-area and All-CIF at defensive back his senior year...Helped St. Paul's win three football league titles... holds school records for punt and kickoff returns...
Also was the volleyball team's MVP and holds the school record for most kills (27) in a game...
Was on the honor roll and named to Who's Who in American High School Student-Athletes.
