Returns for a sixth season at Nevada after receiving a medical hardship from the NCAA ... Will be part of one of the deepest running back units in the country this season …  Is one of three players on the Nevada roster who has rushed for 1,000 yards in a season … Is in the Top 10 of the Nevada single-season and single-game record books in 13 different categories … Named fourth-team Preseason All-WAC by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview.

2008: Much anticipated senior season was cut short due to a knee injury suffered in the Pack’s second game of the 2008 season … Was a recipient of the Humanitarian Award at the Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl … Was named Preseason All-WAC first team by Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook, Phil Steele, Athlon Sports, Lindy’s and The Sporting News … Earned 2008 Preseason All-America Honorable Mention from The Sporting News.

2007: Had one of the finest seasons in Nevada history with 1,420 rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns … Named first-team All-WAC after leading the conference in rushing with 109.2 yards per game … Is just the third Nevada back to lead the WAC in rushing, joining B.J. Mitchell (2005) and Chance Kretschmer (2001) … Was awarded the team's Golden Helmet Award as the team's Most Valuable Player in voting by the players and coaches … One of six players to earn Striker Awards for dominating play over a period of time … His 18 touchdowns ranks as the second-best single-season performance in Nevada history … Earned WAC Player of the Week award with a 241-yard performance at Utah State … That performance is eight-best in school history and third-best since Nevada joined the FBS (DI-A) … Had eight 100-yard rushing efforts during the year … His 1,420 rushing yards is the fourth-best single-season total in Nevada history … Became the first player in Nevada history to rush for 100 yards (112) and have 100 yards receiving (105) in one game when he did so against Louisiana Tech … He was the second player in the nation to accomplish that feat during 2007 (Virginia's Mikell Simpson) … Half of his 18 touchdowns came in two games with four touchdowns at Boise State and five against Louisiana Tech … Scored a touchdown in seven of Nevada's 12 games … Had 26 receptions for 295 yards and three scores.

2006: Earned one of the team's two Fireman's Awards for stepping up in a time of need … After converting from safety in the offseason, Lippincott was second on the team in rushing with 456 yards and tied for the team lead in touchdowns with receiver Mike McCoy with nine … Played in 12 games with three starts … Rushed for 32 yards and one score in the season opener at Fresno State … Emerged down the stretch as a dominating back during three of Nevada's final four games as he combined for 359 yards and seven touchdowns in wins over Idaho, Utah State and Louisiana Tech … Earned WAC Player of the Week award for play in Utah State game … Also caught seven passes for 29 yards.

2005: Was injured and did not play in 2005 … Moved from safety to running back in the spring

2004: Redshirted in his first year at Nevada.

HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of Palma High in Salinas, Calif. … Was a four-sport standout and earned All-TCAL honors in football, wrestling, baseball and track in 2003 … Was a second-team all-state selection in football as a senior … Also earned All-Northern California first-team honors … Was an All-CCS selection by the San Jose Mercury News at defensive back and an All-Monterey County pick by the Monterey County Herald at running back … Averaged 7.0 yards per carry in his prep career, rushing 317 times for 2,205 yards … Scored 30 TDs … Added 20 catches for 330 yards … On defense, tallied 266 tackles with 49 TFLs, 10 fumble recoveries and eight interceptions.

Born Dec. 24, 1985 in Salinas, Calif.  … Son of Brian and Linda Lippincott … Has already graduated with a degree in psychology and a minor in health ecology … Will begin graduate work this fall … Uses visualization to enhance his sports performance, techniques he learned from his father, who is a psychologist.
