Honors candidate returns for senior season as the anchor of Nevada's defensive line...Has emerged as one of the premier nose guards/defensive tackles in the WAC...Named to the preseason All-WAC first-team by CollegeFootballNews.com...A 2007 preseason first-team All-WAC selection by Blue Ribbon Yearbook...A tremendous leader off the field as well, Hines was named as Nevada's recipient of the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute Humanitarian Award at the MPC Computers Bowl.
2006: Voted as a captain by his teammates, a rare occurrence where a junior received that honor... Earned Nevadatude Award for being the best representative of the beliefs and ideals of the program... Earned second-team All-WAC honors after a strong junior campaign...Was credited with 33 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss...Blocked a kick against Northwestern ...Broke up a pass on a fourth-down play during a goal-line stand against Louisiana Tech...Forced fumbles against Louisiana Tech and Northwestern... Had a season-high five tackles, including a sack, against Louisiana Tech.
2005: Started all 12 games at nose tackle...Was a force inside with 22 tackles, including two for a loss...Had four tackles at Utah State for his top outing of the year.
2004: Played in eight games and started two...Had eight tackles on the year, three of them solos...Had two tackles each against Buffalo, UNLV, Rice and Tulsa.
2003: Redshirted his first year at Nevada.
