2007: Named the team’s starting quarterback at the end of fall camp and started the first five games for the Wolf Pack ... Suffered a broken foot against Fresno State that cost him the rest of the season ... In four-plus games, threw for 1,119 yards and 10 touchdowns with just three interceptions ... Against Northwestern, he set career-highs in attempts (36 - since broken), completions (22), yards (337) and touchdowns (2 - since broken) ... 2005: Redshirted his first year at Nevada but did make the travel roster for every road game and was the third-string quarterback if needed.
High School A graduate of Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif. ... Threw for 5,991 yards and 71 touchdowns in two seasons and was an all-state selection as a senior ... Was a two-time all-league and all-county selection by the Contra Costa Times ... The Times also named him the league Player of the Year ... Was named an All-Bay Area selection by the San Francisco Chronicle and Offensive Player of the Year by the Oakland Tribune in 2004 ... His 2004 stats included 3,412 passing yards (fourth-best in the state of California) and 37 touchdowns (fifth-best in the state) ... Played linebacker early in his high school career before moving to quarterback full-time ... Also lettered twice in baseball, earning MVP honors and All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League accolades.
