NEVADA
A veteran player who will compete for the starting job in the backfield and could also see playing time on special teams.

2008: Played in six games with no starts as injuries were again a factor … Was fourth on the team in rushing with 196 yards on 30 carries … Best games with a nine-carry, 83-yards performance that included his lone touchdown of the year against Grambling State … Caught four passes for 32 yards on the year, all against Texas Tech … Served as a part-time kick returner with 14 returns for 255 yards during the season.

2007: Battled injuries but saw action in 11 games as the backup to Luke Lippincott … Finished third on the team in rushing with 334 yards … Scored a pair of rushing touchdowns on the year, at Northwestern and at San Jose State … Best performance was a 13-carry, 52-yard game against UNLV … Also had 14 catches for 133 yards and a touchdown.

2006: Played in seven games with two starts at running back as a true freshman … Emerged early in the season and averaged 4.9 yards per carry … Was third on team in rushing with 270 yards despite missing nearly half the season with an injury … Best performance was a 19-carry, 146-yard, two-touchdown outing in a 31-3 win at rival UNLV … Had a career-long 66-yard touchdown run in that game against the Rebels, which also marked his first career start.

HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, Calif. … Was named to the Northern California "Cream of the Crop" list … Gained 1,785 yards and scored 23 touchdowns … Averaged 8.64 yards per carry.
