A graduate of River City High School in Sacramento, Calif....Earned All-Capitol Valley Conference honors...Played in the Sacramento Optimist All-Star game...Was the state champion heavyweight wrestler...Was a three-year starter...Was a CIF state freestyle and Greco-Roman champion...Finished in the top four nationally in both disciplines.

Born July 15, 1986...Son of Amanda and Greg DeMars...His older brother, Jason, was a two-year starter at linebacker for the Wolf Pack (2005-06)...Majoring in general studies with minors in health ecology and psychology... Plans to be a firefighter when he graduates.
