The top priority of the Nevada Cheer/Stunt program is to support the athletic teams and the University. We are ambassadors to the community, the fans and the students.

The University of Nevada Cheer/Stunt Team is to be compiled of the most well rounded, all American cheerleaders, who love to cheer! At Nevada, we look for elite skill levels in all areas and encourage our athletes to be as well rounded as possible in order to ensure the best experience for our fans, our community and most of all, the PACK!

Q: Does the Nevada Cheer/Stunt program compete?
A: At this time, we are not a competitive program.

Q: Does Nevada all-girl stunt?
A: Nevada does not all-girl stunt. All stunting at Nevada is strictly co-ed.

Q: Do you offer Scholarships?
A: There are some scholarships available for returning members.

Q: When does the season start & end?
A: We begin in early August and go through Mid-March.

Q: Is tumbling required?
A: We do not have a list of "requirements" as we are looking for well rounded cheerleaders, and we will take the best selection for the team pending the skill level at tryouts.

Q: Does the Nevada Dance Team program compete?
A: The Dance Team submits a competitive video to national organizations that ranks them nationally.

Q: When does the Dance Team perform?
A: The Dance Team performs at football, basketball (both men’s and women’s) and volleyball games.

Q: Do you offer Scholarships?
A: There are some scholarships available for returning members.

Q: When does the season start & end?
A: We begin in early August and go through Mid-March.

Q: What skills are required?
A: We do not have a list of "requirements" as we are looking for well rounded dancers in jazz, hip-hop and pom.  Most of our dancers have had dance studio or dance team training and are technically advanced.
