2007-08 (Freshman): Saw action in all 33 games with one start as a true freshman...averaged 2.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game...shot 48.1 percent from the field (26-54)...ranked sixth on the team in rebounding and paced the Wolf Pack in the category in two games...pulled down a career-best 10 rebounds Feb. 7 vs. San Jose State...also led the team with eight rebounds Jan. 26 at Louisiana Tech...scored a career-best 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the March 18 CBI game vs. Houston...added eight points and pulled down seven rebounds Feb. 23 at Southern Illinois...blocked 13 shots, including a career-best two in two games (Nov. 24 at UNLV and Dec. 19 vs. Colorado State).

A 2007 graduate of Christ School in Arden, N.C....earned all-state and all-conference honors in each of his last two seasons...was named the Western North Carolina Basketball Player of the Year by the Asheville Citizen Times in 2007 and was an All-WNC selection in 2006...finished his career as his school's all-time leading scoring with 1,375 points...led Christ School to 3A state championships in 2005 and 2007...averaged 19.5 points and 6.1 rebounds as a senior...
