Basketball Holds Hoops and Treats Event

RENO, Nev. - Fans got a chance to trick or treat with their favorite Wolf Pack men's and women's basketball players on Friday afternoon at Lawlor Events Center.

Wolf Pack players and coaches handed out candy, took pictures and signed autographs for all of the fans, many of whom were sporting their Halloween costumes.

Nevada's men's and women's basketball teams will begin their tune-ups for the 2009-10 seasons with a pair of exhibition games at Lawlor Events Center.  The women will take on Cal State East Bay at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, while the men open the exhibition slate with Chico State on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:05 p.m. Fans can attend the  women's exhibition game for free, while tickets for the men's exhibition game cost $5 each (all seats general admission).

The Wolf Pack women's team opens the regular season against Cal State Monterey Bay on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center, while the men start off the season playing host to Montana State on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:05 p.m.

Men's and women's basketball season tickets are on sale now at the Link Piazzo Ticket Office at Legacy Hall, while single-game tickets go on sale on Nov. 2.
